A delicacy in this part of the world is Ssiat Hotteok. This sweet, yeast-dough pancake is filled with gooey brown sugar, cinnamon, and a bounty of crunchy sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and nuts.

The Jagalchi Ajummas rule the fish market. These older, incredibly charismatic Korean women prep fish and seafood with surgical precision.

URBAN Photo Awards returns to Trieste Airport

From 7 August to 30 September 2026 the first floor of the terminal hosts a new group exhibition curated by URBAN: a now well-established appointment that every year turns the airport into an exhibition space and opens the journey towards Trieste Photo Days, running from 22 to 25 October.
